AndyL
Is anyone here currently running one of the linear air pumps sold at pisces? I was looking at them yesterday - but somehow they seem to be priced very low compared to the ones at Jehmco etc. Which somewhat bothers me... My Jehmco pump was great - I don't have the energy to deal with regular pump breakdowns... I'd also like to know if they can be wired for 230v? Toirtis
I have run the big Hagen ones for a fair bit and they do just fine, but for the money, your best bet is a blower.
AndyL
I'd have to disagree - a Blower is a pig on electricity... A linear airpump (not the diaphram types sold by hagen) is a whole lot more effient and quiet. Albeit a blower is what you go to once you start having to run multiple linears...
