Tanker Posted September 20, 2007 Report Share Posted September 20, 2007 Our hosting company is going to be upgrading the server from PHP4 to PHP5 in the next day or two. While I hope that the change is transparent to the members it is possible that at various times the site may be unavailable for brief periods, hopefully no more than a few minutes in length. The server will require a few reboots in this process and should be restricted to only those few short periods. What is unknown at this time is how much work I will then have to get AA up on the new server software, and if any changes are required on our side once the server is back up at 100%. That is where the most time may be lost, however I do have the next few days off so if and when things don't go well, I am prepared with as much time as it will require to attend to things. Hopefully this post is as much involvement as you have with the process and it is truely transparent and 'like it never happened'... we'll see...
