Majestic_Aquariums
Anyone have one of these? This guy is soooo lazy, I'm surprised he still lives! He hasn't grown at all in the year or so that we have had him, and is very scared off by movement. In fact, he is rarely seem. Is this normal? Every other type of pleco we have had seems to grow quite rapidly, and is always busy cleaning
Majestic_Aquariums
Oops, sorry. I had a chance to look up Raven's link on the Bristlenose-maybe mine isn't that unordinary afterall? Should have went by the theory of "better to shut-up and have everyone think you are an idiot, than open your mouth and remove any shadow of a doubt!" Toirtis
Mine are all very nocturnal, but still seem to do a pretty good job sucking up algae.
Majestic_Aquariums
I guess that's the thing with mine as well, the tank is quite clean-but he's never grown past 3", I guess though that this isn't uncommon.
shawntraviss
Most plecos are nocturnal so you wont see them out and about much, and yea the biggest bristlenose ive ever seen was 4" :smokey:
