I asked if it were male or female because I really need a female. Petland guy said he couldn't tell. It only looks to be about 2 inches. I live 3 hours away from Calgary, but I was able to buy it over the phone. Where did Petland get it you wonder? The guy said it came in about a day or 2 ago from a hobbyist.
