ABwildrose
Does anyone know how to propagate tiger lotus plants? I searched on the internet and found that it sends runners and/or grows from seeds. Does anyone have any first hand experience with it? I do have another flower about to open. Would I need to have 2 separate flowers in order to pollinate them?
Garhan
Ab I have raised several Red Tiger Lotuses and they offspringed via small plantlets from the bulbs. I clip them off and replant these little beauty's. But I have never seen them flower. That would be really nice as I am curious to see the flower myself. ABwildrose
I never thought to take a pic. The flower was really nice yesterday...kinda dying off now. I am tempted to see if there are new plantlets coming, but don't want to disturb the roots. I can't really reach to the bottom of the tank, so I would have to pull the whole plant out pretty much to see if any are attached.
