snaggle
Here is a question a general pet board that I am on I don't know the answer so I thought I would ask here. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was watching my fish swim around the aquarium (very therapeutic that), and then I saw my goldfish open his mouth really wide and shut it again. He had been swimming around, and then took a moment to pause and just sort of float halfway between the rocks and the surface. As he was standing there (so to speak) he opened his mouth much wider than he normally does to eat and stuff, then he closed it again. It looked just like he was yawning. After that he started playing tag with the barbs again. I've never seen a fish yawn before. Is that what he was doing? If not, what was he doing? Kayen
Not sure, but i see my betta yawn from time to time, and i've read for bettas this is a common occurance, however i'm not sure with other fish.
