Does the tank have to be totally supported by the stand?, Some pics I have seen the tank looks bigger then the base of the stand, not sure by how much but is that safe? Is wood or steel stands better?, 1 tier or 2 tier metal stands? I am moving soon and have to plan everything and where they are going. So aquarium stands are a must if the tanks are going to be seen in my livingroom. Right now all my tanks are on desks and dressers so not display pieces. Any help would be great.
