Slough Shark
Would any of these fish NOT be suitable to be kept alone in a 90 Gallon? Cichlasoma trimaculatum Cichlasoma urophthalmus Nandopsis haitiensis Cichlasoma octofasciatum Vieja synspila Vieja bifasciata Thanks, taylor
Parachromis1
IMO the best fish to put in there would be the Trimac like you stated on msn hands down. Going to be one of the prettier of the bunch, but also has an attitude and is very interactive just like its cousin the Midas would be. ALSO IMO Uropthalamus dont make very nice solo specimens, they look and act better around other cichlids.
Nandopsis
All would be fine. Though a 6' tank would be alot better for them. Do you have a line on where to get the Haitiensis, Bifa, or the Trimac?

Slough Shark
I think I'll narrow that down to the Trimac or Hait. Which has more personality? I don't have any source for these fish Jay, haven't even started looking. Mostly because I'm not even sure if I'm getting the tank. I'm still just doing research and hoping that sometime I can get one of these fish. Thanks for the help both of you, Taylor
Nandopsis
If you want personality i would agree with Quinn...go with the Trimac. Quinn: What size are the Haits? and how much are they?
firestorm
IMO the jacks are the nicest. They are great fish to keep and have wonderful personalities. I have a pair of them and I have to say they are probably one of the favorites out of all 60+ species of fish that I keep. I have found mine are not super aggressive. The others are nice too, but it is completely up to you in the end.
Slough Shark
I think I will go with a Trimac. Jack's don't get big enough for what I'm looking for. Does anyone think I could keep a few Convicts with one Trimac?
Nandopsis
I just picked up a large female midas that was in a 90g with a whole crap load of convicts. So anything is possible. Though there was quite afew hiding spots for them.

Slough Shark
Excellente! If/when I get the tank and set it up, etc. (hopefully before summer end), I will have to get one from you. Thanks, Taylor
