Slough Shark
Hey folks, I just wanted to show how Photoshop can be useful in salvaging good shots that would have to go otherwise. This pike shot was taken in a small 6 Gallon Eclipse and the pike was too large and lively for the tank, it stirred up alot of detritus and other debris in the tank, causing a serious drop in quality for the photo. I also darkened it because my camera takes pics that are lighter than I like. By simply using the clone tool, and adjusting the brightness/contrast, the photo went from this: To this: I hope this is of some help. The clone tool is great as well for photos that have water spots, or if you have scratches in your glass. All of these impurities can be erased. punman
That is good to know. I have Photoshop Elements 5 and have only used a couple of times due to the learning curve of just getting going with it.
Slough Shark
Glad it helped you. I find the best thing to get learning is to sit down when bored and just bugger around with the different tools. Using online tutorials now and then is a help as well.
