wishe Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 I have a Elite 799 and I just put a piece of foam under it and it is really quiet, also I just bout a couple Air pods... from the Kens fish order and there super quiet and power (2) 110 tanks at the same time, with 48inch air wands.... We are going to try setting the airpump in the basement and running the airline up. I would by one from a store with a decent retun policey and keep the recipt, and look to noise reduction options, such as running on a bit of sponge, behind a shelf, etc. . Noise is subjective at the best of times. To deal with a flood we needed to seperate the tanks so we needed to hookup the Whisper 100and I figured i should post an update.
