devocole
So this is the thing i made. Hooked it up today and it sounds like a bloody waterfall. I don't like it. Has anyone made one of these. If so is it loud. Does anyone have a non DIY inline Co2 reactor. I need some advice. Thanks guys Devon Edited March 15, 2009 by devocole
cale262
I ran mine upside-down at first just to get all the air out, then I put it right-side up and turned on the CO2, nice and quiet now  Edited March 15, 2009 by cale262
devocole
I ran mine upside-down at first just to get all the air out, then I put it right-side up and turned on the CO2, nice and quiet now  Come on, it couldn't be that easy. So you figure i should just fill the thing up first and then it will be okay. I'll give it a try later. Thanks Devon
darkangel
I just ran my Co2 line into a spraybar located an inch or two above the substrate. The spraybar is aimed up at the surface and I have another one at the top of the tank from a second canister aimed at the front of the tank. corrosionjerry
Its hard to beat the powerheads that swivel back and forth .. they are cheap / make a fine mist and can be easily hidden... However Devon when you get this contraption mastered feel free to build me one .... I like the idea...
fleshgear
why would you use a contraption like this? what would be the difference if you just put the line into the existing filter tubing? why is it so big? does it have bio balls in it? what about putting the c02 line in the inlet pipe so the c02 goes through the filter?
