Fergy
Any tips on 'rejuvenating' suction cups after they've lost their suction? All 4 for my turtle dock have recently stopped working well, if at all. If it's easier to just buy new, where could I find some in Edmonton? And do I have to worry about certain types 'leeching' if I use them in/under water?

I bought some at a dollar store 9 for $1.25 I removed the metal hook and drilled the knobby part so that your holder part fits into it tightly ...works very well. BettaFishMommy
i find that sometimes (depending on the quality of the suction cup) you can soak them in hot water and that tends to make them more pliable and stick better afterwards. either that or just go buy new ones, they're cheap. Boom
I bought the same ones geleen did at the dollar store, and they seem to last me alot longer than all the ones I've gotten that come with filters/ heaters / ect. And cheap. Bom :boom:
Shai
I've recently started wondering about switching to magnetic suction cups when my regular suction cups give up. More expensive, but in the long run...? Any thoughts on these?
Fergy
Ok, buying new isn't a problem. Just thought if anyone has some quick tricks. Was also worried that some materials may be unsafe, sounds like that's not an issue though if you're just getting them from the dollar store. Thanks a lot
