darkangel
I have a 50 gal that had severe hard water stains and the only thing that took it off was liquid jewelers ruge,an air polisher set at 35psi(at the polisher, not the compressor) with a sheep wool buffing pad, and about 6 hours. It's still not all gone, but it sure takes out minor scratches very well.

T Dawg
how about CLR? anyone try, i have heard it works well. Maybe too toxic? Works very well on the stains, but getting rid of it to not kill fish is the issue.
JLake
I have stains that i cant get off. I bought this used tank and its covered with hard water deposits. I used vinegar and a razor blade and there is a haze leftover. I cant get it clean. Any ideas?
rED O
CLR works amazing. I have used it before. But you have to rinse and clean out your tank very well not to leave ANY in the tank. I also use vinegar quite a bit just to be on the safe side.
