A: Well, we're looking at doing a workshop (for lack of a better word) in the spring which would possibly include several guest speakers, a banquet, and a small bowl show. This would hopefully be a springboard to full fledged shows in the future. We need to gauge the interest in this to see if it warrants the cost and time involved to put on such an event. Guest speakers would likely include: 1]SW/reef related, 2]Plant related, and 3]General FW related (cichlids?) Yes, we have some names in mind, but won't say until things could be confirmed. 2 guest speakers and the bowl show would likely be free to CAS (and other aquarium club) members; a small fee would be charged for non-members. The keynote speaker would be scheduled along with the banquet; Tickets would probably run in the $30-$50 range (discounted rate for members.) Any other comments or suggestions are welcome...
