corrosionjerry
2 or 3 days and it should be water logged
Jayba
It depends on the peticular piece of wood, it's size, thickness and the type of wood. For now just keep doing what u r doing. Eventually it will stay down on it's own. I once chucked one piece in and let it float at the surface thinking it would eventually sink, nope it floated there for over a week or so, and never sank. I finally held it down with rocks and it finally got saturated and stayed down.
BettaFishMommy
agree with Jayba, there are many factors! and some woods will never water log, like grape wood. i went crazy waiting for one piece to sink, had it floating in my tank for almost a month. finally found out what kind of wood it was and took it out and gave it to a friend for their lizard. sherlock
I have had mine for a year and it still won't stay down, I am kicking myself for not drilling holes in the bottom side of it :cuss:
