BettaFishMommy Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 are you talking about the metal mesh that is above the lights? i've read a few reviews on the Edge and a some say theirs rusted too. maybe contact Fluval and ask for a replacement? they should replace it, IMO, since aquarium components should never be made out of metal that is likely to rust.
