corrosionjerry
I recieved a pair of Brevis recently ... Male and female... they came nicely tucked in a shell.... very nice fish indeed Put them in a 48" tang tank that I started up and they were in and out of that shell for several days ... then the female disappeared / didnt see her for several days... all of a sudden I have seen her again only she has chosen to live in a pile lace rocks that I set up in the centre of the tank away from the shell area I set up for the Brevis / is it common for Brevis not to go into a shell and choose a rocks! The male quitely sits near one of the shells patiently waiting .... what do you think?
Wingin' It
IME the Brevis always went into the shells unless they were really young. Do you have a shell for both of them? If not, i'd definately offer up a few more shells for the pair to occupy.

JLake
yeah some shellies pull that move. Its prolly the male being unhappy. Disturb the rock pile and put some shells near it.
