HenryD
Hello there! I'm new to the forums and somewhat new to being a fish hobbyist as well! (Actually I'm only starting to think of starting an aquarium of my own). Why do I want to start? Well, my brother and uncle have a couple amazing looking saltwater aquariums and I've seen some pretty cool looking freshwater aquariums on Youtube so I'm tempted to take the plunge! I'm still debating whether to start a freshwater or saltwater fish tank...I'm here to soak up as much knowledge as I can (and ask lots of questions) before I make my decision. Anyways, bye for now! BettaFishMommy
Welcome to the forum!!! freshwater is much less expensive to run than a salt tank, IMO.
HenryD
Thank you everyone for the quick and friendly replies! @Betta_Guy: Hehe...I'm not much of a green thumb, I think my bad luck with regular plants will continue with aquatic plants. =P @BettaFishMommy: I'll have to agree with you about freshwater being less expensive than a salt tank...the money that I see my brother putting into his tank is shocking!
