Tbarabash Posted December 7, 2011 Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 The buffering ability of the fluval substrate will be gone after about 2 months but ADA will last until its life in your tank is done. Planting HC in fluval stratum is frickin frustrating I'm just finally starting to get it to hold on my tank and I had to pour a bunch of eco on top of the stratum to help keep it down Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
