Jayba
About a week ago I set up my metal rack that has 2 48 gallon breeder tanks on it. Chucked a bunch of fish in one while I start up another tank. I threw a few bristlenose plecos in there while I figure out where everyone is going along with some pleco caves, a very small cichlid cave and a rock. Today I notices my large male longfin albino pleco packed into the cichlid cave that only has a 1/2 inch hole, and is maybe 2x3 inches in diameter. Saw him in it this morning and thought, dumbass is gonna get stuck in there. Those long pectoral fins are going to get hung up on the fay out and boom, another dead pleco. So tonight I pulled the cave out of the water, dumped all the water out of it and dangled his tail in the water hoping he would back out and I would get the cave out of the tank. After being out of the water for 30 seconds or so he to my surprise backed out easily. I glanced inside quickly to see how spacious it was and there they were, eggs! I filled it back up with water and placed it back where I got it from, he soon returned to the cave. Oops, sorry!lol!
