Birger is a synodontis specialist ( he was at the last CAS meeting) he'll be able to tell you, but he might need a couple more pics. Your pic doesn't look like a pardalis though. I stumbled onto Synodontis Ornatipinnis though. Do a search and see what you think. Here is Planet Catfish's page on it.
