PseVince Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 I had this horribly dark closet in the entrance to our home.I attacked it with the sawzall one day,Cut the middle out,Left a foot or so from the roof .Hung a three header Halogen light inside .Beaded and Painted.Left a four foot Base and reframed the inner walls with heavy gauge Steel Studs attached with track top & bottom.I beefed the walls to the existing closet 2x4 and drywall.Reboarded the inside,taped and painted and added a 4x4 Post to support the 90 Gallon Aquarium load.Then I finished it off with a sheet of Oak Plywood.I still need to trim the sides out with Casing n such.Will post pics as soon as I resize them...
