Has any one eles had problems with a hydor pro filter. I picked. Up one at a "big" local fish store the thing would not prime and got louder and louder. The "big" store did not want to take it back tried telling me it was the spay bar makein noise. I have a second hydor 450/swapped heads same problem with it on different houses. Local big fish store did not want to take it back. Wanted to charge me a 10% return fee on a 4 day old filter. It was a 25 minutes of fighting to get my money back.

I am bad for neglecting water changes on my tanks. I compasate with massive over filtration and a huge amount of live plants I did a change on my 27 yesterday pH was 8 something only other test that showed anything was phosphate at .25 . I normally will do one of filters on the tank and do about 80%

when deciding to resale a tanks with silicone remove the tape quickly.! or your redoing it or replacing the tank

I have 3 ehemi pro 3' about 5 years old I am having a hard time getting them to prime. After doing any work on them any one else with a problem any fixs. 2 of them have replacement top heads.due to a leak problem about 2/years ago. After there up and working I avrage 6/to 8/ Months with out doing anything to them

how many years should a freshwater tank list before it needs new silicone i have a heagen 75 gallon with 1/2glass i am second owner and i think i have had it for 5 maybe 6 years

They where amazing to deal with

i got 2 new heads in the mail today they sent them out so i would not be3 out of town when i got them... they upgraded the heads to 1275's not a 1273 and a 1275

so i got up this morning to my pro 3 leakeing where the power cord comes out of the head. any idea i think it might be the o rings on the inlet / out let pipes. i am thinking im starting with new o rings and going from there. the moterhouseing is geting water but why . filter has not been opined scins like aug.

can i put a fluve acrilic 7- 8 galon tank in the dish washer? will the fome background make it out? the tank is plaged with BGA i have dosed it with the drugs 4 times blacked it out for a week cant kill it so i just striped it down re homed the fish., and going to store the tank
