83BULLDOG
Got a question I have a 33 gallon tank with a larger gravel substrate then I have ever used before (lets say roughly pea size.) I did have some albino corries in there but noticed the other day that their whiskers have pretty much disappeared I believe due to the gravel I have since moved them out but my questions are 1. Will they grow back ? 2. Is there any other smaller cory type cat fish that would be ok in there? I currenty house in this tank some shrimp , a BN Pleco and a couple pea puffers your help is greatly appreciated.
Tigs
they should grow back. I've had that happen as well, with apparently smooth gravel (to me). The tank they are now in has rough flourite and they have all grown back. cheers, Antonio
SuperGuppyGirl
Keep them off the gravel and on soft substrate. Keep up on your WC's/bottom vacuuming as they are vulnerable to bacterial/ fungus infections at this time. Small doses of melafix are beneficial as well.
