His original brood stock was purchased from the select grade Peacocks that I was importing in late 2012/early 2013. I must say he has done very well as many of the "babies" that he has raised are already in the 4"-4.5" range and fully coloured. Obviously they have never been hormoned but even more impressive is that he has never fed any colour enhancing food. If a person was to work a food containing natural astaxanthin into their diet such as my CAF Colour Enhancing Black Worms the colours will become even more amazing! I have only a limited number of dominant males available and a fair number of females so for most types I can put together trios for anyone that is interested in breeding these. It was a 15 hour round trip to pick these fish up and I don't plan on doing another trip any time soon so get them while you can. Canada wide shipping is available.
