Attaching photo's...

When I post it gives me the option to browse but when I load up the picture there is no way that I can see to attach.

How do you guys attach your pics.

This is a test... let's see if it works.

I 'Browsed' to my picture, and now I'll hit Add Reply for the post...

That, Ladies and Gentlemen, is all that is required.

Browse > to the local file on your computer, and then hit Add Reply to put the post on the web.

This will allow ONE picture per post, otherwise you'll need to host the pictures on your private webspace (most ISPs will provide this free for you) and simply use the tags to put the picture in the post as such:

[img=http://your_picture's_direct_address.here/folder/another_folder/picture.jpg]

I browsed and opened the picture I want, then hit 'add reply' and it told me it can't upload that type of file.

Ahhh... what kind of picture is it? Then I'll be able to look into why that type is not allowed, or why it is being rejected if it should be allowed.

I think my file size is too big. Over 100 KB. How do you shrink the file size?

Microsoft Office comes with a super-handy Microsoft Picture Editor... it's what I use on the fly (it loads WAY faster than my PhotoShop) when I need a quick squish.

Typically, if you resize the picture down to 800x640 or smaller, it's going to be less than the 100 kb limit. That's a give-or-take guess, tho.

Alternatively, you could use Photo Bucket or such sites, as well... until our own photo album is available.
