corrosionjerry
I shut down a marine tank by taking out the water and then refilling the tank with fresh water and string up the substrate that is a marine white sand... then did a few more fw changes .... how safe would that substrate be to put in some plants... I was just to lazy to take out all of that sand so I thought I would give this a try ....3" deep in a 75 gallon tank Has anyone ever done this before...? ckmullin
Crazy high in salt and eventually crazy high tds. Take that stuff out and use proper fw substrate.

jumpsmasher
Too bad you're not in Calgary - I would trade it for some used ADA Aqua soil / Akadama. Would be prefect for my new Sulawesi setups
