daframer
New to here, thought I'd say hello. I've got a 55 gallon with African cichlids including 1 female venestus, looking for a male for her, 2 special 44, 1 denasomi, 1 kenyi, 1 electric yellow and 2 female ob. Also have a small 20 gallon with a few what I'm assuming are juvenile peacocks and a 55 gallon hex tank as a community tank with barbs, tetras, guppies, and frogs. Hoping to get some info and maybe some new fish and a bigger setup, and eventually get into saltwater tanks.
ckmullin
Hello and welcome to AA. Don't forget about the plants in that 55, live plants will promote a stable ecosystem. While this is a good reference for fresh water, for saltwater check out the forum canreef.

I've got a little 6gal nano salt tank which is very very stable almost going on 2 years now. http://albertaaquatica.com/index.php?showtopic=39714
