fishlady
Thanks! I'm probably an outsider here as I do not have aquarium fish only Shubunkins and Sarassa comets. As a pond owner I don't even have koi! Beautiful fish but unless you can winter them in the pond you need really really big holding tanks for them and big nets to catch them! If I had an aquarium I'd love a reef tank but I hear they are expensive but who doesn't love Dora?
ckmullin
Reef is what you want to put into it. Easily can spend 10k however you can have a salt tank for under $100.

ckmullin
Had the tank/light/power heads, just needed the sand/rock/salt and some critters. The lot cost less than $150 and it was up and running well for roughly 3 years before I shut it down. easy peasy http://albertaaquatica.com/index.php?showtopic=39714
