Vallisneria
Cardinal tetras are the top of my list. Nothing is more beautiful then a planted tank with a large school Columbian tetras Harlequin rasboras Rummynose tetras Zebra loaches(not sure if this is what you had in mind but mine are always scooling and are so cute )
Tanker
My rasboras are never more than 2 inches away from eachother... they'll play together, rest together, everything. I keep Harlequins and Hengel's (AKA Glowlight Rasbora, Porkchop Rasbora, Slender Harlequin). I don't really have anything else that's a 'true' schooling fish so my opinion is limited. A word of caution about the Hengel's... they are a "max size 1 inch" fish... so VERY snackable if there is anything of size in the tank.
