Tanker
Easiest way is to start with one boy fish, and one girl fish, preferably Oscars... lower the lights, put on some Barry White, and let the magic happen. Alternatively, check out Google.ca and search for "Oscar breeding"; you'll find all kinds of good info. Sorry for the poor attempt at 'funny'... it's all I have. dunl
Not sure if we have any oscar breeders on here, but I'm sure one of our members will be along with some helpful info for you.
AQUAGIANTMAN
I have about 2-300 fry every month, Oscars are very easy to breed!!! Put 3-4 Oscars in a very large tank, thick gravel and very little ornaments. They will pair up around 4-5 years old andstart nesting. Once nesting begins maintain a 25-30% water change weekly and use declorinated cold water. Once eggs are laid cyphon out into small tank. $-5 days fry will be free swimming!!! Mighty Prawn
A flat stone on the bottom of the tank may help, too. -Hideo
