Madness
Well my Bay Snooks (Silver phase, not the ugly red) have finally gone and done it, laid a little over a week ago on a piece of sandstone about 8"x6"... almost the entire rock was covered with eggs. Took the rock out and placed it into a rearing tank, low and behold all but 6 or 8 of the estimated 800-1000 eggs hatched. They are all free swimming now, and showing no signs of die-off (yikes!) Just wondering if there is any interest in these guys, as I know they will be a tough sale to most LFS, or if they are just going to end up as food. They are still a LONG way off from saleable size. Attached picture is not an actual pic of my fish, but they are that color form, mine have a lot more red in the head/tail. The "Red bay snook" has a very pale flesh tone body and just does not look as appealing to me.

Madness
I found them all dead for no apparent reason this morning, they were eating well and swimming around well last night, a water test showed no ammonia, nitrite and ~5ppm nitrate... but all the fry are gone Ah well, next time will hopefully bring better results
