neely
im looking to put a 36" aqua light pro (specs: http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/store_p...ct_ID=mh-calp36 ) over a 24" tall tank (36"x18"x24")- will the intensity of light suffice for more demanding invertebrates you think? JSTR
Yes, provided the tanks center brace (if equiped) doesnt block most of the light.
neely
crap- thats something i never even thought about- is 24 inches to high to hack a center brace out of?
midgetwaiter
crap- thats something i never even thought about- is 24 inches to high to hack a center brace out of? Depends how thick the glass is but probably. You could chop it out and put in a glass brace but that will still have some effect on light penetration, you'd have to keep it really clean.
