johnsmith
I have 10 danios wasting space in a 10g and I'd like to put them in my 90g but I have really nice diamond tetras in there and I'd hate to see the danios shred their fins. Do you think danios are really nippy or will they keep to themselves?
sharon
They usually keep to themselves when in sufficient numbers. 10 is sufficient.
Melody
Agreed - their activity level is more of an irritant to fish than nipping when there is a large enough group of them, but if there's no sensitive fish in the tank I'm sure they'll be fine in a group of 10. Tetras seem to be able to hold their own anyway, in my experience. I'd leave the 10G up & running for a week or so to keep an eye on things, but i think you're safe. Good luck .
