Toirtis
Well, I went around and cruised a few shops today...here are some highlights: Went here: ...but, from the look of things, it does not look like they will be making their Sept long weekend opening date. Stopped in at Golds (had to fight past a parade to get there), and came away with a couple of fish (shortfin betta, hancocki doradid cat, black paradisefish). While I was there, the following caught my eye: Synodontis eupterus 2½"-3½" $6.99 each Puntius dennisoni 1½" $14.99 each Amblydoras hancocki 1" $4.99 each Calico creamsicle mollies 2" $2.99 each Jardini aro 16" $99.99 Snow white discus 3"-4" $39.99 each Spotted gars 7"-10" $29.99 each Chinese tiger perch 1" $11.99 each Nandopsis haitiensis 1½"-2" $9.99 each Polypterus delhezi (1 only) 4" $29.99 Gold severum 2" $5.99 each Clown loach 5" $49.99 each Monster fish 2½"-3" $29.99 each TONS of frags. Franco's had a lot of fish on 'buy one, get one free', as well as some unusual sized (about 4'L x 3'H x 10"W) used tanks for sale...and that shop had the following of particular interest: Corydoras sterbai <1" $9.50 each BOGO P. nicholsi $45/pair King crab (freshwater crabs) $10 each BOGO Pisces has a lot of new plants in, and all their pond stuff on sale. At that shop, the following livestock seemed worth noting: Exochromis anagenys $16.99 each or 3/$46.99 Weather loaches (BIG 4½"-6") $6.99 each or 3/$19.99 Trapdoor snails $3.99 each Celebese rainbows 1½" $5.99 each or 3/$16.99 Gold tetras $2.99 each or 5/$13.99 Ripsaw cats (Pseudodoras niger) 4" $34.99 each 'Rainbow goby' (no idea on species) $6.99 each or 3/$19.99 'Polka dot loach' (possibly Schistura or Lepidocephalichthys) $3.99 each or 3/$10.99 Well, thats it for another 3-4 weeks, when hopefully, I will be visiting Elite for the first time. Vapor
Thanks for the update Christian. How do you go to so many stores and not buy a ton of stuff? Must take great willpower.
Toirtis
Thanks for the update Christian. How do you go to so many stores and not buy a ton of stuff? Must take great willpower. You have no idea...it would be very easy to drop $250+ on a day like yesterday, but despite popular belief, I do have a limited amount of tanks and space.
