Move them now. Poor water condition due to overcrowding and such can cause Bloat. I raised 3 of them to about 4" then lost them to bloat. Probably due to cramp tank space. I learn from my lesson, i hope you do also.

If you could find some thin glass you could line the tank and seal it with silicone. Problem solved.

Go to Aquagiant. They have double suction cups with a slot inbetween them. *Buy 3 for each side* You can notch the eggcrate to fit in there and it is very strong.

Filters are always over rated. If a filter is rated for a 175g, then it's probably only good for about half of that at best. Depending on stock of the tank.

I agree. That tank is too small to have any of the more aggresive/personality. A foot print of atleast 48"x18" would be a *min* for a smaller variety of guapote or similar fish.

I have never tried the fishing line trick, but i do know a small guitar string works perdy slick.

With a tank that size i would re-seal it just as a precaution.

They are a Local shop. Look in the yellow pages and go down there. I'am sure they will have what you need.

Those are perdy cool, but i use a electric "coffee" grinder. It works in a matter of seconds.
