  1. L160 Scientific name : Pseudacanthicus spinosus Comman name : spiney monster, coffee and cream pleco Like most of the Pseudacanthicus, it likes to hide. The body is grey color with random black dots all over. The picture really washes out the color on this fish. It looks like L264 sultan but with a lower body and lots, and lots of spines and hooks... L147 scientific name : Peckoltia sp. Max growth at 5.9". Very active and looks very close to L75.
  2. I lost count... Must be around 40+ or so...
  3. L14 sunshine - very active. Can be aggressive. This small fish lives among the bigger vampire, sabaji, and my spiney monster at 7"... very attractive and don't hide much. Always first to the food. L90 papa - very fast grow. I got this batch at the same size of the L190 royal and now they outgrow the royal. Very active and eats everything from worm, veggie, pellets. L190 royal - slow grow. seems to like veggie only but will take pellets. L142 snowball - every fish comes in with different size spots. The body color can change from black to grey depends on mood of the fish. L240 vampire - active, always hungry, black and white contrast is quite amazing.
  4. yes. There are different type of variaty of royal.
  5. The sunshine is one of my favorite. I am keeping that one as the rest are gone to different hobbists. They are easily the most colorful pleco. But, with that said, I still love the scarlet most. I did not get a complete 7 red scarlet. But it still looks real nice. The way it swims and pushes every one away is quite amazing when this little guy is only 2.5" long. Did I mention the hooks on a scarlet is way more impressive than the sunshine. Equally impressive is the adonis. It is 3" and it lives with the big L240 easily at 8" for the male. That little adonis is so aggressive even the big sabaji and vampire has to give way. I kept it with the smaller pleco in my 75 gallon but it was bullying pleco bigger than it and my scarlet is in there. So it has to stay with the big pleco.
  6. L-257 tigris L-260 queen arabesque LDA-63 xingu or red fin royal Long fin red calico Red calico

  8. Adonis L-10 zingu or whiptail pleco L-14 sunshine L-15 brazilian zebra L-25 scarlet L-47 mango - this one is special with yellow spot over the eyes. I brought in a few and only this one shows it. L-66 king tiger
  9. a few more pictures L-75 leopard or sabaji pleco L-47 Mango pleco - this one is special cause of the yellow spot over the eyes. I have brought in a few but only this one has it. Adonis L-10 Zingu or whiptail pleco
  10. no. I just bring them in and save a few for myself. All of those are wild caught. They are big pleco and they rarely breed in aquarium setting. For example, sunshine can go up to 12-14". Adonis = 40"... With that in mind, the breed-able one above that i heard of is L240 vampire, L75 sabaji.
  11. yes, it makes cleaning a bit easier. Plecos are messy. Need to clean the bottom of the tank just about everyday.
  12. They are all divided in 4 tanks from 20 gallon long to 125 gallon tanks.
  13. L-25 scarlet L-47 Mango L-75 Sabaji pleco L-240 Vampire L-257 Tigris LDA-63 Red fin royal Still got a few that I can't photo... Adonis L-190 royal L-10 Zingu L-25 scralet (All black) LDA-31 Orange spot L-91 three beacon L-14 sunshine L-168 butterfly
  14. that goldie has a little tail burn if you look closely on the bottom of the tail. everyone left him and pick another one. So, I finally made a decision of keeping him so I am hoping he will turn out nicely and the tail will grow back. But he is turning around. A few ick in the beginning and now everything is back to normal.
  15. Adonis L-14 Sunshine L-91 Three beacon L-239 Blue panaque I got a few more. It is hard to get their pictures since they hide ALL the time... Just recently get into collecting plecos. Here is the list what I have in my tanks that I don't have pictures of... L-18 Gold nugget L-25 Red scarlet, and Black scarlet L-47 Mango L-66 King tiger L-168 Butterfly I will add the pictures once the pleco feels like coming out... This is my newest addiction
  16. I have a group of 6m/4f adults right now. Just can't seem to find enough females around here.
  17. I have those and we just labeled them as silvertipped bristlenose. My male is about 4" and still have that white tip on the top tip of the tail and the dorsal. All the babies and sub-adults from him carrys the same silvertipped. I also know that there are regular bristlensoe without the white-tip. Big Al around here sells regular bristlenose $6.99 and silvertipped bristlenose for $14.99
  18. "wasting" happens more often with cyps.. And I encounter many people having the same problem. And there is no real solid theory of what cause it and how to fix it. The colony of cyps. will slowly one by one stop eating and slowly dropped one by one. One theory of how to fix it is to does heavily with med. like metro or clout. Other people seem to not believe it that. Another theory is to do a daily water change till fish stop "wasting". But even with that, cyps. is still a pretty hardy fish. This is the only problem I have had with them in only with one group of cyps.. The other and the survivors of the groups never got sick, not stress easy, and real easy to spawn. Definitely Utinta and kitumba are one of my favorite.
  19. This is my collection of pleco. It is not super expensive like those L-46 or L-98 but they have unique color and pattern... L-260 Queen arabesque L-66 King tiger L-15 Brazilian stripe Red bristlenose - I got a breeding group of this going... This is a bit different than the usual albino and silvertipped... The orange abd batch of brown makes every each one unique; sort of like finger-print for each fish. Longfin red bristlenose - crossing my fingers on this group I am treating them as good as I treated my kitumba frontosa. As I get more, i will try to post some update pictures.
  20. I did send two mods pm and kindly asked why. But I did not get a response. So, that is why I tried my luck here. I guess it is because I wrote a website up so people will not undercut my price to sell my breeder groups and offsprings. How do you define someone that is allowed to sell and someone is not... A member is allowed to sell with 20 other types of fish, but someone like me have a website trying to obey by the rule selling only a few types of fish is not allowed. I don't mind it at all. But a warning of some sort will be nice rather than just hit the delete button without any information.
  21. It will be kind if the mods can tell me what kind of mistake I made posting 7 types of fish for sale. It will be greatly appreciated. Even a pm will do rather than just a deletion. Thank you in advance
  22. The fish looks so much better in your tank than mine. Now I want to get some of those Neolamprologus pectoralis back Excellent photos.
  23. Here is another pic of Sibwesa when I had them. This fish was around 5"... Those Kitumba frontosa at the back was juv...
