I am not 100% certain but did you look in a hardware store that sells PVC pipe??? Home Hardware or Home Depot?? If not there try a local plumbing shop.
  2. Just a suggestion but have you tried Shipper Supplies? They make a 50,000 types of boxes and will print on them too. And I know at work they deiver but much larger quantities. But I would try them out. Derek
  3. I bought this from Walmart and wasnt to sure about him. Anyone know what he/she is?? Derek
  4. I have not added any wood or rock or nothing to the tank. It is not greenish in a white bowl. It is more of a milky now. I am going to to a 50 % water change and see if that helps. And if you mean the rocks as substrate, it is small white and blue rocks. I will take a pic and post it.
  5. I used marine buffer by Seachem. It is the same stuff K9outfitter uses for her tank
  6. I am already running one AC 500 and a Ehiem 2236 for a 90 gal. Should I just add floss to one of them???
  7. Im with the rest and go with the NLS. Great food for all kinds of cichlids  Derek :smokey:
  8. Why is my tank so murky/ milky??? :well: My ph is 8.2, my amonnia is only 0.25, the nitrite is 0 and the nitrate is 15. It is a cichlid tank ,80 gal, with 19 various fish and 2 BN. The temp is 80.4 I did add some salts and buffer as recommended by a breeder. All my levels say it is good water but it looks yucky I did a water change 4 days ago. Anyone that has some ideas let me know!!! Thanks all  Derek
  9. I would just like to say thank you to fairdeal and to Doc Pilot and Chris for all the help in helping me get my tank set up. Fairdeal got me all the fish to fill the tank, :smokey: Doc helped me get some rocks to make my tank pretty, :shifty: and Chris sold me the tank in question and help me by answering all the dumb questions I had. And to everyone on here that gave me advice too. THANK YOU ALL!!!! Derek

  16. Hi guys, I am Derek. relatively new to the area and only have 2 years tank experience. So I dont understand all the terms yet and all the funky names. Like I say"K.I.S.S" Keep It Simple St..... Well you get the picture. I have a 10 gallon right now with 4 zebra danios, 3 little fellas with an upside down Nike symbol, an albino cori dora, and a 2.5 in pleco named George. I just bought a house and am going to be up sizing to an 85 gal. So I have been researching Cichlids, figured out probably going for a Lake Malowi region. Ihave been cruising to site and I love it. Look forward to meeting you all, and to the great help I will recieve here. Thanks all :boxer:
  17. Hey guys, I just bought a 80 gallon, 48 x 16 x ? tank and was thinking about some cichlids to stock it. But I am an amature aquarium enthusiast and I dont want to buy a bunch of expensive fish at this moment until I get the hang of a bigger tank and the art of raising different type of fish. So if you guys could give me some types of fish and amounts you would put in it, would be greatly appreciated. How would you decorate it as well??
