How about asking if you can purchase "6 bettas and a goldfish bowl", and guage the response you get? :smokey: Looks good all around Chris, especially the price point. It would be nice for people to see the price differences in each city, and realize that just because a store is cheap does not mean that the quality of service and knowledge is matching the price. I still find it funny that high prices are justified by "shipping costs", even though it is no more expensive to ship through Calgary than Edmonton or vice versa.

I was going to say breeding issues, but seeing as these two do nothing but hide under rocks all day long in 55 they inhabit by themselves, I'm thinking they're bored to death or something. Any chance someone has a male or female they would like to trade for one of mine to see if we can find a compatible pair? (Or maybe they need to go on a second honeymoon to a fellow AA'ers fishroom for a day or two....)

You don't have the fish right now to do a cycle, so you may as well go with the ammonia. Even quicker, post asking for filter "squeeze-ings" and used that to start the cycle.

The leak was my dog pulling the hose apart outside the house, and it separating inside the wall. As for the OSB, there's styro on the top of the stand. If you have a leak, all bets are usually off, regardless of the type of stand you're using.

I think I'd accept that answer if you didn't come on and post that you updated the list, were notified people were waiting for answers, then replied to me on Canreef that you had answered all of the PM's, and THEN we find out people were STILL waiting for answers.

Yes, pics suck but it's a fishroom tank, not show, and it's just been recently set up on that new stand I built.

Jonah, roughly the same size..maybe a bit bigger....

5g bucket with the same filter if possible, which is more likely if a sponge filter, but AC300's will fit those too. HTH, and good luck, Darcy
