As of tonight I have seen 6 new ghosts but none surfing the bottom yet. 1 female still carrying her eggs around. Should have enough to give them a fighting chance. I will keep you posted. I'm sure there are more than 6 but being the type they are it is very very difficult to see them.
I have recently found 1 baby ghost shrimp in my tank (5 gal) I have heard of some people having problems with them surviving. If anyone has any advice on how to keep them alive it would be greatly appreciated.
Just noticed 2 females with eggs so I am assuming there are more to come.
I just have some native fish. I figured I would try and see if I could breed them because the pond I got them from is polluted and most of them died this last year. I am going to attempt to clean up the pond and restock it.
Just wondering if there are any livebearer breeders in edmonton?
If so what do you breed? I am asking because I would like to get a little more serious about breeding them. Right know I have neon swordtails 2 of the 3 females are about to pop. I also have mutt snakeskin guppys.
Thank you everone. I would'nt put this guy in show. This is just to make sure I could raise the fry. He is about 4 1/2 months old. Out of curiosity where do you think the red streak on him comes from?
