As of tonight I have seen 6 new ghosts but none surfing the bottom yet. 1 female still carrying her eggs around. Should have enough to give them a fighting chance. I will keep you posted. I'm sure there are more than 6 but being the type they are it is very very difficult to see them.

I have recently found 1 baby ghost shrimp in my tank (5 gal) I have heard of some people having problems with them surviving. If anyone has any advice on how to keep them alive it would be greatly appreciated. Just noticed 2 females with eggs so I am assuming there are more to come.

I just have some native fish. I figured I would try and see if I could breed them because the pond I got them from is polluted and most of them died this last year. I am going to attempt to clean up the pond and restock it.

Does anyone have some know how on how to condition wild fish. Specificaly how to get them to eat flake, pellets, etc.?

I also have 5 red platy's that I have raised. Unfortunately tey are all male.

Just wondering if there are any livebearer breeders in edmonton? If so what do you breed? I am asking because I would like to get a little more serious about breeding them. Right know I have neon swordtails 2 of the 3 females are about to pop. I also have mutt snakeskin guppys.

Thank you everone. I would'nt put this guy in show. This is just to make sure I could raise the fry. He is about 4 1/2 months old. Out of curiosity where do you think the red streak on him comes from?

Just curious what you guppy lovers out there would rate my guppy. Be creative about haw you rate him. Thinking about breeding for show purpases.
