  1. Hey just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with the T5 coralife strip lights?

I have seem to found that they just wont last more the 8 months. I have a 48" light that

had just blew on me and the same thing happened to my grandfathers T5 48" after it was

    8 months old as well!

I have about 9 others that are running right now and im going to see if they all fail on me soon

    I sure hope they don't!

    Any info would really help.

    Thanks.

I breed Dimidiochromis compressicep myself and could never imagine them breeding

with another spices of fish just wouldn't look right.

Good luck on the future outcome might get some nice coloring!

  4. Can someone help me i'm wondering if I really do need a skimmer for a saltwater tank?

I did have a small 10 gallon saltwater going about 2 years ago with some live rock and 2 clown fish and did not have a protine skimmer on it and they did great for about 1 year until my heater locked up and cooked everything!!

Im looking at going for a 20g - 33g.So I just want to know If it would be ok not to have a skimmer again? What do they do for the tank are they a real must??

    Thanks for the help!!

  6. Ya just leave them alone in the tank i have all my peacocks in my 180 gallon and when they

are holding i just count my 15 days then i strip the females all goes well.

If you try removing the female she will most likely spit the eggs out.

I'v done it once and never again!
