  1. Thanks Nick for the ideas. I Have done water changes with no luck. Oh well. If it happens it happens. My female msobo is already holding. Did not even have them for a week dang it!! HEHE before they were at it. Shannon S
  2. Only have the two kribs male and female. Only in a 20 gal. Female always looks like she has some egss in her but have not seen anything yet. Had another male that I had to put down as he had a weird growth coming off his head. Looked like a tumor. RdFishguy I am actually looking for a female chewere but thanks for the offer I apprecaite it. I do have about 8 fry so I am hoping to get a few females out of the batch. The rest of the the fry escaped their confines and got eaten!! They are about a month old but can't tell the sexes yet. Hope they look as good as their dad. I am pretty sure they parents were F1's. Shannon S
  3. Kribs have breed only once and the darn babies all got sucked up the filter. They were fun to watch though Learned my lesson cover those intakes!!. Fry were a bit of a surpirse though first time I had kribs. Have not breed again. Moso, I have one male to two female I think. I am not 100% sure if they are female yet. Tanks said I can bring them back if they turn out to be male. So far so good though. I would really like to get another female Pseudotropheus Elongatus Chewere. Only have one and she is holding again. Have not seen them around. My poor parrots. One is 8 inches and the other one is only 5. The larger one is always laying eggs and tries to eat the freckles off my arm when I am cleaning the tank. Had them for 7 year. Very hardy fish!! Even if they are hybrids. My bad Shannon S
  4. That would be a Metriaclima sp. "Msobo" or Pseudotropheus 'msobo' (not sure why they have two names)Hopefully a female!! Shannon S
  5. My pathetic attempt at fish photography and for the heck of it Shannon s
  6. Good to know I am not the only weird one out there. HEHE. I have tried all forms but no luck. Even stole some latex gloves and a mask form work but still it did not work. Shannon S
  7. Is any one else on this board allergic to blood worms? I am! Those darn things give me the itchiest eyes and they will swell shut if I scratch them to much! I had my doctor stumped for the longest time he could not figure out why my eyes were so swollen, red and hot. Tried every eye drop in the book. Finally after a month I figured out why. It was from the blood worms. Stupid things!! So fish no longer get a blood worm treat!! Shannon S
  8. That is what I thought as well. Plus his face is solid colored and the pics I have seen of the Mpanga are usually not as solid looking. Also his black stripes seem to be thicker than the Mpanga's. And Chewere seems to ring more of a bell in my mind than mpanga. The female is just a darker version of the male. Tends to turn a brown color when holding. The mpanga female seems to be just a light blue but I only found one female picture!! Shannon S
  9. Ok gang I bought this guy a year ago with a couple of females but being the dope I am I have forgotten who he is. I am leaning towards Pseudotropheus Elongatus Chewere but not sure. Just had a large batch of fry from one of the females. Any Ideas!! Shannon
  10. I use both on my 90 gal and 20 gal. I have also set up both at the tank at work!! Shannon S
  11. Nice pics!! I love seeing other people's fish pics!! Shannon S
  12. Nice looking tank!! I am jealous!! Shannon S
  13. Awww!! The Jellybean is a cutie!! Shannon S
