  2. Well it's been a while since I've updated this site and I think it's because I needed a new camera ....So I bit the bullit and got a kodak Z7590 it takes some good pics of the tank so soon I will be updating the tank pics..... good fishing to all....ciao david -roll-

  9. Hi all summer has come to a close a couple of hours ago ... and I feel compeled to get at it again so Im going to gut the tank ank redo it . the rock the layout and the critters. hope to have some new pics in the near future ... ciao David..... :bang1:

  12. Well not much new to report I've had a car stolen and I replaced it with a 2005 ranger and the tank is cycled now so I'll start adding critters soon and slowly so a few pics will come over the summer ....ciao david
  13. yep thats right , because it almost makes it but not quite so a little heat and it becomes plyable...
  14. Hi there I have one , a 180 for dennis and I have three300 on it I just used a blowdrier on the tube and heated it up then slid it down in place worked for me ... I'll check the mes. one minute.....................here this is better the pump sits on the glass and the tube needs to be heated and then slid in place only took about 10 minutes to do all three... hope this helps... this is my fresh tank.....ciao David

  16. It is a Impressive unit very sad to read about the loss . I have had a bit of trouble transfering my corals as well but only lost a small amount ... good work on the install ... keep the pics coming on the recovery eforts..... ciao David
  17. I keep the Osphronemus goramy for about 30 years I use to have the oldsest and largest in cap. was 29 inches and was 16 years old . i now after one weht down to cancer 8 months ago got a redtail nad her she is ..... caio David p.s. I keep her in a 200 gallon....
  18. This picture was without light Albert hope this gives a better look at the coraline is growing well..... to sick to do much right now so just watching the amonia go down to 0 maybe in a couple of days now ..... ciao David
  19. I also started the narrow wall on the right side but I need more rock .... and here is a closer look at the left side the bridge at the coral hanging down was hard to do but I'm starting to like it some touch ups are needed .... David

  21. Andy great ideas and thats why I posted it so I could get good feedback... I"ll need to get more rock and I'm broke for a month or so but I will endever to implement some good ideas .... thanks for the great ideas David
  22. :ph43r: Sorry haven't updated for a while to bizzy at werk hair pulling .... So I have add some of my dwellers to start a good bacteria established.... so a week later and no problems . I think I'll wait a will to add my mushrooms and coral , still working on the hood so only temp lighting on tank. I hope to fix this on the weekend ..... ciao fer niao David
  23. well I have all the base rock I had in the tank now there is 180 lbs in there dosen't look like much in the big 32inch deep tank its only 25 high 73.5 inches long but the rock still looks small. I have 200 lbs of live rock to add so I hope it look a little fuller. off to bed now 3:30 to start at the airport 3 loads then off to red deer for the day only 30 or so stops ...... :mad: I also put my sail fin tang in the new tank he seems to love the room over the 35 gallon night all David
  24. Cpt Cleverer you might like to know there is a 200 on the other side of the desk and a 20 gallon on the desk that is split in two half nano reef and raising tank.... it only taken 2 1/2 years to do it all .... ciao David
