Hey Ty you're going into salt??? with your Live Rock go to golds they have some indo there. thats where I bought some of mine.
-
I just start breeding Cynotilapia afra 'cobue' (W/C) and F1 Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos they are trying to, but too many cyaneorhabdos males.
-
well I believe it is somewhat cycled..... 45 gallons of water is from old tank and the other 45 gallons is treated water (aqua plus) I left out for 48 hrs and was pre heated. I also am using the fluval 404 and the ehiem 2213 from the old tank so I'm not sure how long would take to completely cycle the tank. I bet pretty quickly... well I've already add the old fish (joanjohansae, and cyan') and I added some cobues all f1's.

It is stacked slate. I 'm planning on adding more gravel and more slate, and then Plants-vals lots of it.
-
My new 90 gallon tank. it's been running for about a week now. I'm just waiting to fill it with more fish. Here's a pic- Hopefully the link works

you crack me up rahim! -roll- Where is the cheapest place to purchase it in calgary I want black sand. I read all threads here pertaining to black silicia I'm not sold on silicia. I was curious what is moon sand is exactly it has to be mass produce somewhere and I want to see where it can be bought bulk.
-
Tahiti Moon sand: Does anyone know what is it exactly and if there's a bulk producer of it???
-
While doing a water change I noticed this tiny little white worm, the diameter of thread and about 5-8 mm in length wiggling and floating to the bottom of the (fw)tank.... does anyone know what that could be?? I was thinking mosquito larvae. thank you Eric
-
Maybe if one is desperate to do a water change. They can skip bathing for a few days...
-
Here's a pic of them. I know it's not the best pic but it shows some of the spots.
-
I noticed another one has some black spots, just like the other one but not as much.
-
So guys I have a Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos with black spots around the gills along the bottom. I did a search at cichlid-forum.com and nothing matched the description. so any pointers what it might be??? I'm just learning my digital camera I bought yesterday. I'd post some pics but they are blurry. Later, Eric

I was just trying to get some form of feed back from consumers. this is where I've check thus far. http://www.bigalsonline.ca/catalog/product...1761&pcid1=2911 http://www.canreef.com/phpBB2/search.php?mode=results http://www.eheim.com/ I wasn't able to find any detailed info. I couldn't find the finder at the eheim website. I'll keep digging....
