  3. Here is what I feed my oscars Hikari food sticks Hikari massivore pellet NLS 7.5mm pellet raw prawns krill beef heart bananas deshelled peas for the greens in there diet jumbo dew worms superworms crickets small frogs Boyds vita chem vitamins Be careful with beef heart. If your going to feed it, do what i do. Buy a 1/4 of a heart, cut it up, cut out ALL fat and veins only leaving red meat. After this, let meat soak in cold water to leach out the blood. Dry pieces of meat in paper towel to get out the water. Inject boyds vita chem to give it nutrition with all that beef. Beefheart is better this way. Its good for bulking up a oscar in its growth spurt because of the large amounts of protein. Also remember that the more diverse diet, the healthier the fish will because it will be getting everything it needs. I feed my two oscars that exact diet and here is what they look like...
  4. Egg create would be the best. Id also have a small underwater pump on the males side for water movement on the bottom of the egg create to the females side. I believe the females can breed quite young, around 5 inches or so. But the males must be mature, around 2-3 years of age. Id do a 110 gallon tall tank for flowerhorn breeding. Keep your water conditions pristine, and good luck. Do you own a red dragon?
  5. What do you mean by this? Hire a pro? I am one. :guns:
  6. Thai silk is doing great! Moved him into his own 50 gallon. I bought a nice fixture and added one blue bulb to bring out his color. I am not feeding him hikari and keeping his NLS diet. The other flowerhorn I am not feeding NLS but Hiakri. I really like this guy, glad I bought him.

  14. The one pup is 5 weeks old, so it should take worms cut into small pieces. The others are almost 3 weeks so they might take worms, but Id stick with the blood worms for a few more weeks.

  21. I kept a 70 gallon outside for 16 months. Its running now with no leaks. It has been running for almost a year. I don't think you should worry.
  22. What kinda fish are we talking about? :well:
  23. CLR works amazing. I have used it before. But you have to rinse and clean out your tank very well not to leave ANY in the tank. I also use vinegar quite a bit just to be on the safe side.
  24. I am always impressed with Golds live stock. The selection is amazing and I never see a unhealthy fish. They do a good job QT there fish. I never have to worry about quarantine a fish from them. I can toss the fish in my tank and not have to worry about anything. I was just at Golds today as a matter of fact, picked up a nice jag
