So are expensive plant substrates only more benificial in the beginning? Also I was looking for sand blasting sand, I found "glass grit 30/40" I don't know if that's the stuff.

I was wonder what the prices of plant substrates (like eco and flourite) were in Edmonton and Calgary? And also which are some good lfs to buy healthy plants at a decent price? Thanks.

I was wondering what you guy think is the most intelligent, interesting, fish with the most personality? Ok my setup is a 90g with a xp3 with two 250 watt jagers. The fish cannot get over 8” and must not need a substrate or decorations. I would like a fish that is active at all levels and does well alone or in pairs. It doesn’t have to be a cichlid and I don’t care about color. I really wish there was a mini oscar, why don’t they create one, kinda the same as toy dogs. To sum it up I would like a fish that is more of a pet, hand feeding would me cool too.
