It would be closer to 2400 lbs. I'm not worried about it at all. I've seen some pretty hokey stands.

Look at it like the structure of a garage. Looking at the front of it, you see a huge opening for a garage door. The weight of the roof is supported by the overall structure. Just because the 3 walls are complete, doesn't mean it is weak in the front.

I got 10 in my 30 gal planted tank on my desk and they are all out every time i look.

I just tested that sticky for a 60 gal 300 w double that if in the basement .Well that is where my tank is with a 100 w no problem running at a temp of 75.

i think you should put 3/4 plywood on the top then foam .To test it put down a wet layer of paper then set tank down you will see where it is touching .Then shim to flat
