sounds like your oscars got character. my oscar used to nibble on my hands and if i was lucky she would eat mysis from my hands. she wasn't really that scared of me at all. sounds normal to mee.

guy,... many of us have seen your fish ... If your fish are a good example of what nls can do.. ill stick to trout chow.. Please refrain from criticizing someone or their fish. i agree but prior to the last couple of months he was picked on by an oscar and 'texasterror' until i got rid of them. i'm sure by now that dovii would be dominating him. but now he's seemed to have developed an easy temper, can't touch his glass. but nls is not the way for meee, i think i'll stick with hikari.

your comparing hikari massivore to nls???? thats an unfair comparison.. lets compare nls price with hikari gold big als online sells Hikari Gold-17.6 OZ. for 22 bucks..which is roughly the same price as NLS... yeah but 22 bucks for a 300g container. 17.6 oz is like 650g. forgot to mention, i'm feeding a single fish!

I feed 13 fish that are a foot and 7 of them are pushing 16inches and the 2 catfish and jardini are over 20.. --------------MY FISH EAT MORE THAN MY 2 MINI SHNAUZERS---------------- i just wieghed it out... a handful of trout chow ways 26.3 grams.. I feed atleast 4 or 5 handfuls a day AT THE VERY VERY VERY MINIMUM.. 4.5handfuls x 26.3gram =118.35grams a day and lets pretend I only feed 5 days a week, 118.35 x 5=591.75 and 4 weeks a month 591.75 x 4=2367grams a month.. thats roughly the amount of the 75 dollar pail of nls.. my 55 pound bag of trout chow cost 50 bucks and will last almost a year,, I agree with you that NLS is one of the best foods on the market,,. but 75 dollars a month is retarded and even if i cut their food intake in half and fed only nls, $32.5 a month is just as retarded, as 75 dollars a month.. If i had a few guppys and some tetras.. NLS would be great.. NLS is great, just not economical for me.. that's what i'm saying to. i wouldn't break a budget just for some NLS, could get 2 bags of mysis some blood worms and a some cichlid gold for the price of 1 300+gram NLS container of pellets.

i'm sure ingredients have like 95% to do with it. esp. with the factors it does to the colouration of the fish that eat the pellets. i can't say i would spend money on NLS, i'll still with hikari cichlid pellets fo sho. grab some bio gold once in a while.

moved and painted his tank last night his light is now broken, so hopefully i'll be able to grab a light from tonton when he gets off work. this is his tank as of now pre much should have an after picture by like 10.

my 404 leaks when the power is stopped to the motor and the water inlet and outlet is in the water. but i just try to get it to regular flow and clean up the mess after if it leaks a lot. just try getting it started to regular flow and if the leaking doesn't stop within maybe 2 minutes i would trash it to be honest. i don't know if my advice will leave you with anything other than a gangst' mess but i hope it works.

my little barred is lucky he's to smart and fast for mr. midasjeezy or he'd stab that tooth right through that lil midas lol.

my 11" barred midas has grown a gigantic bottom jaw tooth lol. how lethal can this tooth bee. have any large teeth fish ever gotten a hold of you before? i'm kinda scared, i think i might just trap him in his pot when cleaning now!
