Definitely see Kelly at the Reef Shoppe. He's not in Edmonton-Lloydminster-but WELL worth the drive. He's got a great selection of corals, fish and supplies. I found my Marine Snow there-and I haven't been able to locate any in months!

Also, if it is going to take longer than a couple of hours, I make sure the "fragile" stuff (fish, corals, etc) has a pump in the container. This will give it water movement and keep the water exchanging gas.

I recently saw a rechargable unit that would kick in if there was a power interruption, I thought about buying it, but I didn't...now I can't find it again-anywhere! (Is there such a thing as non-buyer's remorse?)
