  1. Just thought I'd give a heads up that today is Customer Appreciation day at Aquarium Illusions in West Edmonton...........sales I'm off to pick up my new tank
  2. How was your trip to Edmonton? Big Al's has a good selection, I've only had the chance to visit Aquarium Enthusiats once(but I enjoyed my visit very much). I am a frequent visitor to Aquarium Illusions because they're always so pleasent to deal with. There's also Blue World Aquarium but I haven't had a chance to check them out yet, I think they're new. Every time I visit Aqua Giant there isn't much selection in live stock and I'm not often acknowledged.
  3. The 2nd sounds like a porcelin crab to me as well. I have one in my tank and they are filter feeders and he always hides, I rarely ever get a glimpse of him. There are 2 types of Porcelin crabs. One lives amoungest anemone which are white & tan and the other in and amoungest rocks and are blue & orange. Here's a link to show a pic of this type http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_displa...amp;pcatid=1963 I have no idea what the first crab is. I'm new to all this too. I've had my nano for 2 months now but I have some corals, the porcelin crab, snails & peppermint shrimp in mine already.
  4. Thanks. Has anyone ever used the Ice Pobe Chiller?
  5. Does anyone know of somewhere in Edmonton that carries a chiller for nano cubes? I have a 24g that runs too warm and would like to find a chiller locally if I can.
  6. I just purchased some at Aquarium Illusions in Edmonton.
  7. I think I have a fire bristleworm in my tank and I'm definitely buying a trap to try and get him out before he gets bigger. I have also seen a white one but I'm not worried about him. I saw a pic of someone's hand on the net that had touched one so be careful, ouch. http://www.salt-city.org/showthread.php?t=667
  8. Have you tried Aquairum Illusions or Big Al's?
  9. Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, well actually to salt water too =) Anyway, I purchased a 24g reef ready nano unit made by AquaEuroUSA and was wondering if anyone else is using this unit? I have not seen it anywhere else around Edmonton(excpet where I purchased it) or heard of others using it yet. Here's the link to the tank http://aquaeurousa.com/Saltwater_Tanks.htm I'm also wondering if anyone runs a chiller on their nano's(mine runs pretty warm) and if so is there a place to get them in Edmonton? Also wondering about timers for the lighting. Thanks.
